Telekom Slovenije and the SETCCE team received a silver award for innovation

On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, among the awards given by the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia for the best innovations of the Central Slovenian region in 2024, we were the recipients of the award for the innovation of user identification with the help of a new biometric card on a mobile phone.

In cooperation with SETCCE, Telekom Slovenije is the first to bring its identification service closer to users with an innovative digital approach using a biometric card within the VALÚ smart wallet, which will certainly shape the future of the user identification process. The introduction of identification in this way allows users to safely and easily upgrade their profile in the VALÚ smart wallet anytime and anywhere. This enables an excellent user experience of accessing services and safe interaction, completely comparable to a visit to a branch.
